De jachtgemeenschap in Namibië is nu door de eigen regering tot stilte gedwongen.
Het ministerie van Milieu en Toerisme (MET) van het land heeft een memorandum vrijgegeven dat het plaatsen van opgejaagde dode dieren op sociale media verbiedt. Het memorandum noemt het nemen van foto's van jagers die poseren met trofeeën, en niet van de jacht zelf, "onethisch", en roept bezorgdheid op over wat de Namibische regering precies probeert te verbergen?
